You found brake bands?Pretty much got these 2 wrapped up thanks to @how57 for sending me the rest of the parts I needed. Just got to finish up the mufflers and put some brake bands in some clutch covers

The 667 is back together with a new piston and new crank seals.

The Original to me PTO seal was not flush, cocked maybe 10 degrees. It ran very rich on initial startup using previous settings.
I recently ended up with the 2.0 version when I bought a pair of saws (the only way the seller would sell them, as a pair). The main saw I was after was a Poulan Pro 330 that looked to still be in great shape, $50. for both saws I figured I'd make the Homie a runner and resell it for what I paid for both. The Homie turned out to be a runner with no work needed, I just cleaned it up some and listed it for sale. It does seam to run well for what it is, and I'd use it for small stuff if it doesn't sell right away.....A friend dropped this PS33 by for a checkup. Found a partly plugged spark arrestor screen, and it was about ready for a new chain. Checked/cleaned the carb (and reset the needle tab height), did a partial muffler mod by enlarging the baffle holes inside the can and opened the final opening a good bit. Those small changes really woke this little one up.

For now using the dished one. To partly compensate for the feature, I made a base gasket that is 0.006" thick as an OEM one is 0.020" and applied a thin layer of threebond on both sides. Compression seems fairly good. Squish around the piston edge ended up at 0.035" with the thinner gasket/3bond combination. It sounds pretty good initially.Which piston did you end up using?
Clean it up and run it! Paint it if you want then bake it.Just picked this one up and popped it open last night after work. There appears to be some corrosion going on. What to do? The bearing pockets seem fine. View attachment 389756 View attachment 389758View attachment 389759
Thats a prop,,, blades are on chainsaws,,,
It is a propeller blade; don't give in so easily; And, blades are not on chainsaws, bars are...Point taken.
Keep your fingers away from that prop.
You took the bait,,,,I been waiting for that.It is a propeller blade; don't give in so easily; And, blades are not on chainsaws, bars are...
