Last weekend I replaced the pto case half on my brother's 365, part of the upper dog mount just broke off of the case and left a hole in the oil tank. Since I was in there it got new bearings and seals, even with that the whole thing was stupid easy and only took a couple of hours. I also picked up a new starter solenoid for my brother's tractor and built a new set of cables for it.

After wrecking one of my loader’s lift cylinders loading 2nd crop round bales, I finally got it back in operation with new cylinders and a new paint job. Even had a local hydraulic shop bend up a new set of lines for the bucket cylinders.B6EA59A0-5DCD-4DB8-B829-F518FE2F41D7.jpegF1A390CA-2D50-4AF6-B769-D5DEB243C0B3.jpegB8FC3EFE-F848-4ECF-BE32-6186C056B811.jpeg

Been chasing a leak on the transfer case of my truck,, changed the output seal twice,, still leaking,, after a real close look around it the darn cap (like a frost plug) on the yolk,, cleaned it all up put some good sealer both sides,, letting it cure.

I saw that back in the day on Mopars, the seal at the rear of the sliding yoke would leak. Looked like a freeze plug. Warranty would pay for it, otherwise it was a 50/50 chance of sealing since it was so difficult to get the ATF cleaned out enough for the sealer to work.

Pulled it apart and cleaned. Will order parts needed. Saw had air leak around clutch side bearing and crank. Used case splitter to remove flywheel side case and crank dropped out of bearing on clutch side (very loose).C3A4E213-1ACB-4B4A-B4EB-5D17C3887503.jpeg

Have you used the aftermarket cases on those before? I have on a few Stihls.....but not on Husqvarna.

I have used aftermarket 372 cases before, but not lately and will not in the future. Seemed too porous, breaking easily at inner spike bolts. If you need a clutch side half (that's a 385/390), I have a used one.
