Like to throw out a special thanks to @av8or3 for hooking me up with some nice parts for these 2 saws. Also @davidwyby and @Gaston as well. Ported aftermarket 7900 second one is going to be a really nice oem 7900 build. Now I just need to decide if I want to port it or not

Working through the carburetor kits from Woody Strommen.





While I was at it I decided it was time to get some other collections sorted out and put away in order as well.







So, a lot of my bench space is currently occupied with carburetor kits.

Rebuilt a 394 with a hyway popup
I added a second port with red97 deflector
Runs strong I heat cycled it and was tuning it in wood when the coil died
Got one of these to try in a 372 tomorrow.

How hard is it to find a rust free cj7 tub out that way? Can't find them out my way

Don't see them much, but I'm not really into it these days. People don't daily their old Jeeps much, and I'm not shopping for them. Chances would be better here than there though I'm sure.

Rebuilt a 372 this morning used a duke's plated piston
I used a red97 deflector for a dual port
I ran it In this afternoon when a windstorm came through.

I'm going to surprise my wife with a new petzl vertex vent. She works for the Maryland park service. They outfit with stihl helmets... No Bueno. She wore my petzl and loved it. So I bought her one and now it's time to make it hers...
