562 handlebar?
Yep, I got the idea when I saw my 562 and 350 sitting next to each other on the bench.
Move that silly saw out of the way so we can see the chair Dan.
I'm afraid it's not much to look at, but it is by far the comfiest office chair I've sat in.

After getting the rest of the contents from the small parts bins put away, today I focused on the gaskets & diaphragms.

First step was getting them sorted.

As I pointed out elsewhere, I put together a binder with scans of many different carburetor kits to make it easier to I.D. parts when working on carburetors. It also came in handy today to be able to put these parts in their proper locations with the corresponding carburetor kits.

That metering lever on the page is actually the scanned image...I know...I tried to pick it up.

Threw a amazon 262 kit on the 257
The air dam and air intake crumbled to pieces from age.View attachment 370483
Runs strong but the seals let go when I was tuning it in wood
I'll change them out tomorrow.

These are almost free give aways in my neck of the woods. If the diaphrams in the cv carbs are good, check the oil screen for blockages/restrictions (prevents overheating), most models requires a side case removal to get to it.

I had a 68CB, A 70sl and a pair of 360's. the 6 speed addition was a sweet addition for the current models.

Neighbor wanted a budget rebuild on a 272 so I put a 11.00 raisman kit in it
And a carb kit with a fuel line
With a new true blue starter rope.
