Pretty sure JJ has a couple. Don't know if he'll part with one but you could ask.

Started putting this old 930 super back together today. It has a little more mag rot than I would like but that's to be expected after living under a brush pile for a number of years.

She has new bearings and seals. Now I have to decide what to use for a piston??

I am pretty sure that a company called Episan makes 930 slugs.

A while back I fixed up an nice Echo CS-6702 for a bloke. It would not start and needed the limiters taken off so I could tune it properly.
When I ran a test cut the rakers were level with the teeth and it would not cut.
I fixed the chain and sent it back with him.

He just brought it back saying its not right. Says it starts and runs well but wont cut.
Spark plug is nice grey, not white or black, fresh fuel, everything is tight
Anyone what to guess whats wrong?

I will be giving him lessons on how a cutting chain works and recommending he buy a depth gauge and flat file.
I may also start running paid classes on chain sharpening.

Weak spark or poor fuel delivery I reckon.

seems I got a little scoop today.
Since they had used it to cut aluminium with it I didnt think it would end up well, but the price was low so I grabbed it.

Luckily it seems they didn't cut much alu or the air filter actually did a good job....owner didn't want to spend any cent on the saw, to bad for him good for me ;)

I'll give the crankhouse a proper cleaning (looks superclean as it is), same with all parts, spend a few coins on gasket&airfilter, put it together and use the saw.

Got the 272xp on the bench finally getting some love. Decided late to put a Meteor piston in it. I have one coming from Ddave so I have a couple days to get everything else together. Stopped at Spike60's shop on Saturday and picked up a bunch of parts! Thanks Bob and Dave!
