I was going to say they used them to spear Suckers + Carp in the Spring when they breed.

I never got into harvesting either of them but know people who did.

Ms 201 tc durability test. Or should just replace climber. This saw needs about same parts, but twice the price. T540 took a drop, this one swung into treeIMG_20220404_153511218_MP.jpg IMG_20220404_153459167.jpg Now I get to see which one is easiest to work on. Husqvarna is definitely toughest. :aaaaa::facepalm:

Guy from the saw mill brought me a 450 with one of those spring assist starters that wasn't working so I replaced the the pulley with one out of a 350, no more spring assist but it works good. He also brought me a 391 that had lost it's muffler, expensive mufflers.

Finally got around to sandblasting (80 grit Black Beauty medium) & painting my "Murdered Out" Craftsman 3.3 muffler...

Left the muffler & paint can in the hot sun for about an hour before painting.

Did 3 coats of Rust-Oleum high heat (1200°) grill paint.

I just did the front half of the muffler being the lazy arse I am!
Didnt even bother to do the bolts or washers.
It turned out really well & I WILL be doing others (with more attention to the details) in the future!

You can see the rust on the back saw...

It's a work saw so it doesn't really matter, I just dont like rust! Lol

Same Craftsman 3.3 in pic (last year).
I cut most (still A LOT LEFT to cut) off that Oak tree (18 ricks of wood) with 1 saw, 1 bar (3 chains).

Thats a 18" bar in the pic.
I've owned it (I have 2) over 20 years.
Nothing but simple maintenance.
You might have to zoom in to see the saw. Lol!

I was so low on saw knowledge just a year ago, I got my 1 & only bar pinched & had to use a hatchet to chop it loose!

Thanks to this forum, I've improved my GAME!

Now, I have 7 saws & I'm in to the bigger part of that Oak now.

I have a 68cc Shindaiwa 695 w/24" b&c.
