445 XTorq. Her complaint was funky idle and bogging when she would throttle it up. Richened up the slow speed needle 1/8 turn and good to go. Tossed in a new plug and fuel filter as well.

Got one here that starts and revs up nice but gets boggy in the cut...

I was changing out antifreeze

I found a couple gallons of mouse nests in it
I ride this several times a week
And there was never a seconds trouble out of it.
The nest was wrapped up in the cv belt.

My ice auger with a 49cc 2hp Tecumseh engine. The recoil spring broke so I ordered a new one. I an going to install a new fuel line and put an adjustable carb on it. Seriously thinking about modding the muffler and giving it a port job.
Has anyone on here ported an ice auger before?

My 3hp Jiffy auger with the old Power Products style powerhead is governed. All I did to wake mine up was add more tension on the governor spring

Weird 576 XP AT problem on my bench.
I put a new carb and fuel line in it last year for a customer. He promptly put a couple of tanks of gas through it and dropped it in the shed for 9 months. Now it won’t run.

I put a new plug in it, dumped the fuel, and did a reset on the AT carb. The fuel line and filter seems fine. When I try to start it, it will pop but that’s it.

It’s not flooding - when I pull the plug, there is smoke in the muffler and combustion chamber. Any ideas??

Could it be the impulse line, I've forgotten to hook it up before and the saw would fire on choke but wouldn't run?
