I had to redo my choke on my 036/044 this morning because it wasn't closing all the way and I also dyed the plastics, now it's finally done.

Changed the oil on the generator i had given to me back in the spring. Got about 7 hours on it since I got it with no trouble other than the spark plug went bad.

I received a 075AV in return for some light maintenance on two Huskys. I’m taking it apart today and I knew it was locked up, but this ? Never saw that coming. Makes a good case for spark arrestor screens.
The crankcase is wet with oil so it’s not a total loss. If I can get the cylinder off without hurting the crankcase I’ll call it a good day.

Just finished up this 359 today and had a chance to test it out. I bought it from my local Stihl/Husky dealer who took it in on trade. I decided to keep the OEM 359 jug on it and see what I could get out of it. Here were the stock numbers w/ no gasket:
Squish: 0.022”
Ex: 105
Trans: 124
In: 80

Since the intake & exhaust were already plenty low, I decided to pass on machine work. Also ditched the cat muffler to make the muff mod easier.

I ended up with the following numbers:

Ex: 105
Primary Trans: 120
Secondary Trans: 122
In: 80

Saw runs way stronger than I was expecting!

445 XTorq. Her complaint was funky idle and bogging when she would throttle it up. Richened up the slow speed needle 1/8 turn and good to go. Tossed in a new plug and fuel filter as well.
