Looks like the one I did when I failed to run the tap in far enough.

That’s a real possibility in this case
First time I’ve done these and I can see where that could happen
Great observation!
Follow on, if it wasn’t done deep enough, I now have to shorten the fastener or face trying to fight a cross thread once past the coil, for what ever threads were left from the original strip

Right now there is a 372xp on my bench wich i rebuild into a ported 52mm big bore with muffler mod. A fun saw for me to slice some cookies with and for some fast timberfalling.
On the picture is a 242xp hanging in vise that receives some well earned service.
This is the best hobby in the world, love it

Thank you, they are not new, just well taken care of. I want my gear in good shape and ready to go whenever i need them. So fun to be able to choose saw. I will notify you if the 361 is up for sale, but not in the near future though.
I’m located just outside of Gothenburg.

Another Husky saved, this was given to me a few days ago, i was told if i didnt take it it was going to landfill.
It had a branch fall on it and snapped the rear handle off, then looks like it spent its life out in the weather.
Underneath the plastics it was disgraceful, never cleaned, air filter was worst ive seen, the air filter did a great job, piston and cylider were pristine.

257 I found under a work bench. She’s a bit dirty. Gonna do crank seals and probably a piston and ring. Gonna try and clean the burnt spots out of cylinder. I think it got hot and crank seal started leaking.B033C891-0C27-4FE1-8467-B12698A96A17.jpeg
