image.jpeg Finally got the new oem top end installed. Pressure and vac tested. Generator, flywheel, and heated handles installed and new xpg carb assy all courtesy of @Tor R
Added a xpg decal. Then fired it up and got it to start idleing. Next will be getting it into some wood and see how she does.

I'm setting up my little ms200t killer for 8" cant racing.View attachment 28770 View attachment 28771 View attachment 28772

We kept the rear handle 40cc under class separated from the top handle saws. TH class we called bumblebee class.

2 cuts 8x8 TH's were at a disadvantage as it was with handling in cuts etc as it was. Dont ever recall the ported TH's coming close to beating the ported 40cc under rear handle saws.

Man I wish we would have had PS PS3 chain back then. :campeon:

Thanks. I used the carb you sent. I didnt dremel the top cover. I did a mild mm. Will do alittle more later. I will report in after i get a few tanks through her but if it runs with my 262 i will be shocked. But i know it will be a good runner.

I fancy those 550, me think it's the best 50cc ever made.
It was one AT-1 carb, far as I know there was less issues with them compared to the later one AT-7.
If you dremel the top cover your jug will get better cooling.

Let's talk about that cover mod Tor.

More info please?
cylinder cover # 587 24 86 03, one hole added and a wall has partly cut out to improve air flow according their service bulletin, s/n 2015 48 00241.
Think the same has been done to 560/562 also.

The one hole isnt that long distance away from the decomp valve, but what they did inside I dont know

Go to someone who have laser engraving machine , its better than the dremel and cost nothing and the result is perfect

That's cool. Man I like that. My imagination is spinning right now. Just think of the things you could do.

Just wondering about the starter handle. It appears to be MIA. Kinda looks like it's got a push start button now
