Back in the day, (before synthetics) we used to use 1/2 motor oil and 1/2 STP as assembly lube! It worked!

For those too young to know, the STP was thick as honey!

I totally agree Mike but my mix is 30% 15-40 and 70% STP, Slicker than dog snot. Been doing this
for over 45 years and never lost a motor. Cylinder walls get straight 30W

Know anyone with an ultra tank?
Yes, but vinegar creates a nasty black substance that will permanently turn anything it dries on black, and my chains are currently pretty loose from the vinegar soak. I’ll post up pics once I’m done fixing one later today.

Looks good! Yeah, I deserve the woodslacker title, I've been slacking off on my saw stuff big time while I work on other stuff. First it's a Billygoat mower, then it's the brake cable on the atv, now it's my brother's truck. One o' these days the other stuff will slow down long enough for me to finish some saws.

Meh, I use a solution of white vinegar in my ultra tank. Rinse and immediate spray with silicon or lps.
You made it wrong, I'm a lefty :D
Brother Lee. You show up here and there will be a South Paw bench waiting.

Still getting myself familiar with this 262xp. @PA Dan and I checked out the compression with his gauges the other day. Reading about 225-230 PSI.

And we took this one for @RI Chevy.

Spent some time cleaning it up and Dan had an NLA replacement 262XP recoil decal on hand which was awesome! She's a looker now!
