Well ... maybe it is not on a bench ... but I became a Grandfather again today.
My older Daughter (Jenn) had her first at age 43 ... a boy!
Both are healthy. She lives up in NH.

Not much this evening. Got the boat hooked up to the car for the vintage outboard motor club meet tomorrow.
Checked out another blower that was given to me, a Stihl SH85 shredder blower. Needs a carb, fuel line assembly and I'll toss in a fuel filter, plug and air filter for good measure. Then it along with the BG55 will be up for sale.
Got in more stock of RC12YC and BPMR7A plugs.

Never to old for a grandson though.
I've been old, this is Grandchild #5! I spent a day with the oldest one yesterday, he is 14 now. We did a little weed whacking work, had pizza for lunch, shot the 22, shot the bow and arrows, then rode the mtn bikes!
I think we were both wore out after that! It was a good time!

50gl drum bench , good for cleaning up a mess.
So I was on the hunt for a Big Husqvarna and the 395xp is one of my favorite saws. Unfortunately finding one can be a little difficult in my area, any that sort of ? ran were near retail prices and they were few and far between .
I got lucking shooting the breeze with a good fellow and purchased a 394xp for 3 presidents.
time for a through cleaning and inspection.

Definitely getting hard to find good 394’s. I did notice your missing the partition wall that goes over the intake block. It keeps heat out of the carb box. Part number 503524401. Otherwise nice complete saw, deserves a rebuild.

Messin with one of them little saws i got a while back. I think these are just as bad as the mini macs to work on. Think I found the problem. It would run but not real well. Ther is no gasket between carb and intake block. And it could.probly use a carb kit too. Who knows how long this thing has been sitting.
Also whats up with the fuel line routing. As normal the line from fuel tank goes to carb. The the other line from carb goes into the oil tank. Just thought that was kinda odd.

Odd indeed. It's almost as if the oil tank is for 2-stroke oil and the carb mixes the ratio before sending it to fire.Messin with one of them little saws i got a while back.
