Craigslist find. Needed going through. Cleaned the ports ( 1 of 3 was totally closed off), still has good compression, changed plug, general cleanup. Replaced a self propel engagement cable, had one in my spare parts assortment. Started 1st pull after 3 primer pushes.
The throttle linkage was broken (part on order)20210614_160901[1].jpg the small tab that the cable attaches was missing/broken.
It came with 2 extra never resharpened blades and a 3 bottles of echo power blend gold oil 6.4oz.

Good combo! I have most of the bugs worked out of mine, drove it today! You running the truck manifold? What cam and compression?
Running a Fast LSXR 102mm intake.
Should make about 10.4:1 comp.
Sloppy stage 2 cam. 585/585, 228/230 112Lsa
I’m hoping to see 450+ hp at the wheels.

Cub Cadet LTX1045 hydro 46". 20 hp Kohler Courage. Get running and service. Got it to run but the battery and lugs are pooched.. gonna replace the battery, lugs, toss in some fresh fuel and see how it runs and drives before a full service and inspection.

That's a lot of cam with good compression. With your head work I see no reason you wouldn't reach your goal.
You're going to need suspension work if ya haven't already.

It should be close, the dyno is a b word! I haven’t put mine on the dyno yet with the new combo. Was hoping for 500 wheel, but I know that’s hard. I am happy with the way it drives now, that’s all that matters! Lol! Due up for rear tires! I would definitely be worried about the 7.5, I have the strang s60 and love it the worm gear posi I’d super nice! Your going to need some really good tires! I definitely did!
