That is a new model to me. Never heard of it! Ever run one?
yes, I have one who work, but not all of it was pure 133 parts.
133 came in 1980, and was the start for all those neat limbing saws to Husky.
133 -≥ 234 -≥ 238 -≥ 242SE -≥ 242XP -≥ 42 -≥ 42special -≥ 246
I miss one working 234, 238 and 42 special to have the serie complete.

I went ahead and checked the 031 spark and it did just fine so I put the rest of the saw together, put a squirt of fuel in the carb just to see and it fired right off. I fueled it up and added bar oil and started it up. I'm not sure why I was given this saw, there wasn't much wrong with it! I really didn't even have to adjust the carburetor but I tweaked it just a bit, it ran pretty good and even oiled the bar. I propped it up on a couple of pieces of wood after painting the bottom of it, already did the sides. Not a professional paint job, just covering up the bare metal..I'll try to get some pics of this and another saw I resurrected this week.

After I got the 031 running I decided to stick a little spray paint on it..nothing professional just a little dime store paint to brighten it up a bit.Stihl 031-1.JPG I just painted the white part, didn't have a matching orange that looked close. This is about the easiest starting saw I've had for a while. By the way, it still has points.

I took the husky 268 I rebuilt out the back to give it a run and test/tune it.

Made a few cuts, tuned it and am really impressed with it.

Got another log and set up my phone to take a video, and when it hit WOT just before I was about to start the cut, the replacement AM muffler went bang and separated at the seam.

Will upload the video later on

Easy to start because of points. They are great to start. No effort required.
