Hose on our grease gun ruptured and shot grease into my right index finger.

This was after the dead skin finally started peeling off.

Holy crap. That looks painfull. I never imagined a greese gun hose could have so much pressure to do that.
Glad to here your on the mend though.

The gun is capable of at least 8000psi. We bought it to tension the tracks on our crawler. Sadly, the flexible hose was not rated as high.

Well when ya cant buy a replacement sprocket, ya gotta get creative. Got a little more grinding to do that I will finish up tomorrow. My poor 20 gallon air compressor ran for about 20 mins straight but did a good job at keepin up.
Anyone else ever had to weld a worn out sprocket?

2010 365 Special.
Not so special really tho. New Meteor piston, bgd, decarboned exhaust and squish, de-limited carb, obligatory @Red97 muff mod, new rim and a very thorough wash.
Clown before me had the choke bellows through the opening like a gasket. Pulled the carb all sideways and preloaded the impulse. Took a minute, but I sussed it.IMG_20210303_125236.jpg IMG_20210303_122423.jpg IMG_20210303_123957.jpg

I got the sprocket all fixed up for the s50. Was to excited to try the saw and forgot to get a pic. It acually runs pretty good. Might bring it out cutting next time. Got a little more cleaning to do on it first. Took me a bit to figure out where the bar oil fill was lol.

Looks good, but I would not use pop rivets. That remaining stud could come loose.
