Since you mentioned it as a matter of fact I have a titan 70 .Totally stock and it took me a while but with all the OEM parts it ever came with .Took me forever to find an OEM fuel cap .If it was not so rare I'd do some exhaust work on it to give a little more pep. Too damned quiet and a quiet saw is not a fast saw .It's 70 cc and it should run heads up with a Stihl 044 but it won't .

Yeah, about the only thing I coild find was the clutch.
I know Mark would be interested in a fuel tank if one exists, I tried to get it to seal from a crack but no luck.

I think the Italian made Macs just came along too late in the game to save the brand after R P McCulloch went bonkers and the board of directors drove it into bankruptcy .As for the Titan series I've only ever seen one being the Titan 70 which I own .
It comes as no surprise the numbers are low because from my info it wasn't introduced until 1990 and Mac circled the drain around 1998 .Whatever became of the design, if any thing or the Italian factory I have no idea .
As for the saw it's self it's got enough power .Fact mine came with a 24" bar which it does okay with .The anti vib seems to be good .It might have changed the game if things had been different .I do know this ,a well tuned 700 will out run it .

I'll snap a pic some time today .It's a high impact plastic deal I think .If so depending on the crack it might be possible to clean the area with solvent and seal it with red Loctite .That stuff will seal about anything if the surface is clean .

What is the tank made of ?
Its a thicker plastic, I tried seal all, welding it with a soldering iron and adding peices of plastic.
Unfortunately before I found it in the scrap yard some dip sh¡t ran over it with the loader ,most of it was still pretty good but the tank cracked around the handle mount.

The latest victim was another weed wacker .This time an Echo GT1100 ,21 cc ,little pup but did okay with a blade head .Fuel lines, filter .This time I had a carb rebuild kit on hand and found it on the first try, amazing . Bad thing is the primer bulb blew out on the first try but started with a prime .It's the larger bulb and all I had was the smaller .10 of them are in route as I type .Should be here next Wednesday .
Now there's an old trick here .Sometimes for some reason the mags won't fire on a tug,. If you can wind them up with a drill motor often times they fire right up .Learned that little ditty decades ago on Briggs and Stratton lawn mowers .

Stihl BR600 got a new OEM carb after valve adjustment didn't solve the flooding out. Once it started and ran for a minute my shop looked like a Bob Marley concert as the crankcase and muffler were loaded up with fuel. Runs good now. Giving it a good run tomorrow to make sure that the carb tune is good. Just need to toss a service kit in it (spark plug, fuel and air filters).

@WillG i've got a B&S 850ic on my push mower. Its on the cusp of 50hrs run time. Besides a crankcase of new 30wt and an airfilter blowjob are there any other service items?

Cheers, Adam.
I'd probably toss a new plug in it and that's it.

Tossed bar and chain on the 55. Sweet runner. Oils like a champ. Helping pop with cutting this weekend. I'll also bring my 346.

Quickly looked at this garbage pile Homelite. Guy broke the recoil rope trying to start it. Pulled muffler and unfortunately piston looks good and it unfortunately has compression. Not really looking forward to working on it.
