Finished putting on the full wrap kit from baileys... 40$ usd, felling dogs, full wrap, front guard plate and my favorite, stainless steel guide plates! I find they leak less oil and are much easier to clean.
This baby was my primary milling machine, milled alot of boards with it over the last two years. Alot of blood and sweat but no tears with this one ;)
She is retired to just a felling saw now.

its done way more boards than whats seen, but gives you an idea how busy she was i suppose.

My big project right now is a 372 xtorq to original edition conversion. No bottom end changes on this one, i dont have the tools to do so nor do i think i want to.
Meteor piston and cylinder, everything else oem. I even splurged for the walbro wt12 cause i dont like how the xtorq carb seals even though it is bigger. Also never could get that carb to run right...

Still missing some goodies, chain brake handle, choke lever, one of the red tubes for the carb etc... havent Checked to see if the heating element works on this carb, just fitting things up and seeing what i need. If this goes well ill probably splurge for oem and look at a pop up with a base gasket..

You have no idea how much it pained me to drill this top cover.

Will do buddy and thanks. [emoji106] I had a busted up cover that's drilled to compare and measure. 1/2" spade bit made a nice clean hole.

I did an xtorq boot, multiple times, was difficult but not nearly as bad as the original edition.
Yup the oe's are much more snug, one I fought with had an AM big bore not that that made any real difference other than I had to do it on more than one occasion due to the tree service that owned it melted it down a few times....

I don't know why anyone would go through the frustration of changing a Husqvarna intake boot without pulling the cylinder when it's such a simple job. Can have them tore down to the crankcase in 15 minutes.
Agreed. That's the beauty of the Husky design over Stihl in my opinion - Remove the muffler brace, air horn supports, and 4 jug bolts, and the whole assembly just lifts off in one piece for many different models.
