I had blades on my mower for 10 years. Never even came close to looking like that.
Must have vibrated like a mutha.

Serviced a pair of lawn tractors after work. They both got oil and filter change, new fuel filters, plugs, air filters, and front end greased. The Cub Cadet is waiting for a new tranny belt. The Troy Bilt also got a new set of blades. His old blades need to go on the wall of shame!

I've seen way worse!!
I "bush hog" some with my lawn tractor and the blades don't wear like that, rocks, shale and sandstone rocks in the yard make my z-turn blades look like that in a couple years.

My 395 cylinder arrived home yesterday after it’s field trip to NC for an attitude adjustment. Can’t thank @rattler enough! Going to try and find some worthy wood for first cuts today.

Sunday cleanup! Pulled my zero turn in the shop to pull blades off for a sharpening. Checked out a possible oiling issue on a Poulan Pro for a six pack of Sam Adams Porch Rocker!

I like using a bench grinder. I feel like I get a more consistent bevel, but I could be full of BS.

I used to file blades by hand. But I use flap disks too. Faster and easier.

Yes, use the 28mm and sometimes bore them to 30mm for banshees
