I built that bench in the mid 1980 when I was building this house, and yes, the top is plywood.

I have tall ceilings in the basement, and it had to be narrow enough to fit between the 16" studs so I could pass it through un-sheetrocked walls (or use it between the studs). It was used extensively when I built the interior walls, and when I did the electrical and plumbing work.

I have found a million uses for it since then, and it has basically survived outside. For example, I started working on the 460 outside, but when it started to rain I just picked up the bench and moved it into the garage … very handy!

My hunch about the Ryobi backpack blower lacking in the compression department was confirmed....

Freshly decked 288 and 394

Found out that play dough works better and is cheaper than plumbers putty for blocking off the crankcase. :)

My kids are always wondering where their playdoh is

Makes great epoxy dams and molds too. I usually pick the kids up a few fresh tubs and steal their mixed up stuff or colors they don't like for in the garage.

Pressure washer finished with the exception of a new gun. The old one leaks like a sieve. I'm swamped with stuff so for the next few weeks I'm not taking in anymore work. Later this evening I'm going to start pulling the 357xpg apart so I can send the flywheel, generator, harness and heated carb to @Stevetheboatguy in trade for non xpg stuff.
