Nope. She’s got an 046 cylinder on her, though. Stock hda carb seems to flow enough air somehow
Aint nothing sacred anymore:D
So this is cool. U went from like 62cc to 76.5 if im reding this right? Do u do the carb mod on a 620 like people do on the 590? I think they change a jet out to a larger one?

No idear. Sits at 1.25 turns out, so plenty of fuel. It’s one of @Red97 ’s builds. He sent it up to see what I could come up with

59.8 to 79.8cc

Actually I think that one has the nozzle swapped.

Havnt had to on the Other ones. They eat enough air the hda can't over fuel like the 60cc.

Quick story of bubba and billy hill going fishing. First trip of the year.

Hey bubba. Yeah Billy. Damn motor won't crank. Yeah what you want me to do. How bout you grab that bfh and smack the eap of a starter while I try and crank it. Sure thing....... Damn that didn't work. Lets take it in to the shop and have them replace it. That's why you gots the warranty ya know.

(eap is technical jargon for expensive azz part usually several hundos)

Running on 50:1 plus fogging oil. One of the other guys was using the plain 50:1 tank. First time I've had one of them as far apart as I had that one. Powerhead was off to get at the water tube grommets which live under the powerhead.

Big parts delivery today. Shindaiwa stop switch, fs100rx coil from @backhoelover , Oregon Z bender tool, unloader and soap injector for dads buddy's pressure washer, 455 Rancher clutch cover for my 346xp conversion, 6 pack of 2.5 gallon mix making Red Armor oil ( I use half of one bottle to a gallon for 40:1) and a 2020 Stens catalog. But before I get to work, a well deserved cold beer.

This is the last of the 6 saws I had to repair, and I was dreading checking the damage. I had repaired this saw last year after it took an unscheduled 60' parachute drop w/o the chute! I cut the corner off another broken 460 case I had, and fixed the recoil (both with PL Premium), and the repairs are holding up.

Now I don't want to say this worker abuses the saw, but I've never seen anything like this before and I have no idea how he did it. I likely have a 460 brake band somewhere, but will need to order a new Stihl clutch (this was OEM by the way).

Comments welcome!

Banged out 2 trimmers this evening. Just need to run them one more time tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm finishing up my dad's buddy's pressure washer and checking out another trimmer and a generator. Had a Ryobi blower dropped off for a no start, initial inspection feels like it's lacking in the compression department...
