Never mind, I'm being a freaking idiot today455 rancher xtorq I picked up from a friend of mine, said its leaking fuel when on its side refueling. Pic is where its leaking at blue circle, line with red arrow goes to the primer. My question is what is the broken hose and where is it supposed to go, unless I missed it I can't even see it on a diagram

I like the smaller dual dogs too, and I live on the west coast. Looks great!Mounted some 064 dogs to the 044, these might be my favorite setup for the Midwest. Doubles make stumping easier IMHO and these spikes are aggressive on heavier bark but not 3" long monsters like out west. View attachment 239401
Also I'm not sure who I saw with the idea but garden hose rubber fits perfectly on the roller catch, we'll see how well it works the next chain I throwView attachment 239406
If you don't mind me asking, how much do you cut from the band on the 51.4mm cylinder and how much compression does it yield? I'm getting ready to do one of these for myselfPair of 372 XPW cylinders, band cuts last night, cut the bases tonight and start porting. View attachment 238955 View attachment 238956

Thank you for the reply! .050 should put a real nice squeeze to it.Havent done a compression test on these yet, but I cut them generously at .050 from the band
That would depend on how much was taken off the base...right?Thank you for the reply! .050 should put a real nice squeeze to it.
Yes. .050 will significantly reduce the volume of the combustion chamber and I'm assuming that he machined the base to achieve a squish clearance of between. 020 and .025. If so the cylinder will have been lowered somewhere around. .055 in total resulting in a serious increase in compression assuming that the exhaust port isn't raised to the moonThat would depend on how much was taken off the base...right?
