Did some test cuts with the 034 and then replaced the carb needle grommet on my Super XL/XL-12 and touched up the chain. 3 strokes on each cutter had it looking great.

Started the day by fixing a broke wire on my 2063/2171 for the on/off switch, then ported the 2511T and last put a new intake and fuel line in the 5105, I made a new clamp for it, I dispise the spring that they come with from the factory, it's the weak spot on that saw for sure.IMG_20200129_105249_01.jpg IMG_20200127_163850_01.jpg

Test cuts with the 346 with dual port muffler. Ordered a new Oregon ProLite 18" bar and Oregon LGX chain for it too.

Took the West Coast spikes off the 034 and put the stock one back on. Also turned up the oiler as it wasn't oiling a lot.

I guess tomorrow I'll make test cuts with the Super XL/XL-12

Guess this means I can build a couple more 505 2083 54mm if I like now.

Now I have seen two of the oem 2 ring pistons for them. Always want to compare them for kicks.
Also have used a 66 piston in them before too. But little different specs and have to open pin bosses up.

Recreated my dad's setup from back in the day, an 034 with 20" bar for some cutting this weekend. Also tossed the 16" bar back on the 031 for tomorrow's cutting video.

Nothing tonight except for relaxing. Tomorrow I'm doing a cutting video with the 031. Also cutting up some downed pine at a vacant house down the street.

Was comparing some poulan 54mm pistons. Some old ones pulled from past saws and some of the new nos and used ones that came in.

Got alittle surprise. Front piston that came in a saw in the past turned out to be aftermarket. Had oem circlips, oem wrist pin, caber ring. Least they were smart enough to do all of that.

As you can see the skirts are freaking so thick on that afm one.
