I got the time to check out soft soldier vs PlastiGauge later and it was spot on, feels good to have another options if I go empty of PG

Sounds like the gap between the coil is to far? Or maybe the flywheel key is sheared? FS day! lol!
I was thinking there would be some issue with the coil...but thankfully it was down to the plug having some bits of flaked off burnt carbon in between the terminals causing a.. on-off dead short . This trimmer hasn't a mark on the piston and a spotless spark screen...worked hard i guess it was getting warm and burning some carbon up top....runs real nice with a new plug and a tune check . Next one is a 024 with a Tillitson HU 54 f carb....not the best idling carb !! think a posable upgrade to a wt 194 is on the cards .

I have been thinking for a while how I was going to put a second port on my 272xp muffler. Here's what I decided on!

Thinking about maybe a couple fins on the front or just a rounded end opening and using a peice of my high flow screen behind it.

I dont know why I waited so long before I bought one, it seems to be very solid and it was kinda cheap also.
I'll think I will buy another one and make a few adapters so I can set up one wheel for advanced timings, had in mind to use adapter for the pawl screws
