2260 just died in the cut. Started back up once DOA since. Will hit if fuel down the plug hole. Piston still looks perfect. Fw is in proper position. Has strong spark.

Autotune carb is not getting any fuel to cylinder.
Took carb apart and will run a cycle or two in the UC.

This saw has a curse

I took it to cut last week and it had popped the primer purge line off the back of the bubble.

When she runs it is a mean saw.
It just doesn't run enough.

I’d trashcan the black filter too. Stick with flocked or orange mesh on those saws.

There a winter filter that lets fines in for normal cutting. Even the yellow “summer” mesh filter sucks in my experiences. It’s why they came out with the updated finer mesh orange filter.

1998 3210XP. Supposedly used to cut Willows and firewood. Came with a 3/8 -7 pin - 24” and 36” bars. I don’t think that she was run too hard.

OE piston and cylinder that look great.

It needs a few pieces behind the clutch, but runs good.

372 and 390, The 372 acts funny after about a half a tank and won’t hold a tune, according to the owner I’m assuming it’s a tank vent issue, the saw starts and runs fine with a re-tune, The idol does go a little higher everyone once and while after several hard revs but not always , And the 390 is severely scored

Check the intake and pulse/fuel line's for a leak
And the mating surfaces to the carb to make sure they're flat.

Going to give it a full check up, checking the fuel line filter impulse carb surface and Will do a pressure VAC test, the carb was a little on the lien side to begin with, and after a re-tune it seems to act fairly normal, I had it idling for 15 to 20 minutes, Revving it occasionally, and it would return to idol quickly and idle fine,I did that about three times in sequence, and only one time did the idol Raised buy 200 to 300 RPM, I turn the sauce on the side and opened the gas cap, After about five seconds to 10 seconds the idol returned to normal and then closing the Asked to drop the idle down below the original I will buy about 100 RPM and then returned to normal. Most tank vent issues seem like the saw wants to creep idol and then progressively get higher and higher, Still going to give it a full check up
