3300 saw I bought just for the parts mainly. Nice 335 recoil cover was on it and nice p+c. Just pulled it down to see what all it needed. Now prob just set on shelf being I got plenty of 54cc runners.

Guy on my CR group and site needed a 60cc topend. Told him NP I have a runner I will pull down and include the NOS oem piston I used in a 365 and this 380 test saw. I figure $50 isnt bad for a compete 60cc used topend.

I absolutely hate the 290/310/390 series saws. Straight up despise them. I hooked up another member here with an almost pristine 290 I got that had a bad top end.

You can adjust the spark plug gap, you can adjust which temperature plug your running, element type, timing....

I won’t even work on them anymore... costs more than the saws worth to fix them with parts+labor imho. It is amazing how much people will pay for them on craigslist though. I guess it’s good if it says stihl on it right?
