Now I am just waiting on my wrap handle to come in. The only aftermarket parts are the muffler and the wrap handle that’s coming. I’ve used half. Dozen of each and they have been just fine. I think it turned out nicely. The saw is completely built from used parts I found. No two large parts were from the same saw.

I put the motor in
And left great nephew's job was to bolt and wire
Everything back up.
Started and ran great but everything stayed powered on
dashlights and fuel pump wouldn't shut off etc.
It was a *b-word to find out
That he had plugged the hood light
Connection into a non functional
Wire that was supposed to be plugged
For that year.
Same everything color connection etc.
the hood was off we swapped engine's.
saw related i got a deal off the Amazon
35.55 24" .58 gauge though
So i bought a few archer
They've held up great for me
Bought some .50 a couple month's ago.

Not doing much chainsaws nowadays, a buddy of me dropped of one 550 year 2018 who had got a tree fall, he needed a case, handles.
While building one for him I figured out I could finish my own project:

Speaking about the last version of 550 mark I, their 6 bolt crankcase looks to be improved (first time I've seen the head gasket sit flush on the case):

I like tools:

034S with an 036 case and muffler/360 heat shield. Its coming to the CT GTG. I'll be selling this one or my own 036 at some point.

I already have a MOFO 360, but for anyone who does not, opportunity knocks! Even my Nephew, who is a died in the wool Husky guy, wants to steal my MOFO 360! Excellent power to weight when Al gets done with them!

Very nice, that saw has some serious "snot"!!! And I love the electrical tape on the handle (I have some like that), and the Elastostart cord (on all my saws)!

Did not slow down a bit as the wood got wider … I love saws with torque!

The 2100s just eat wood with a sharp chain. This one has slightly higher static compression and new Cabers in it, so it's pretty stout. The ports are stock. The muffler was opened up a little before.
