I just got a "manufacturer defect" saw really cheap with very very little run time. Yes it fires up and runs perfect. Wait... Where is the "you suck" thread? This might belong there...???

The defect you ask??? Can you see it??

How about now?

Just need to pull the rash plate and run the bar stud down, then flatten the rash plate back down and reinstall.

Once it's all done I'll do a thread if the owner doesn't mind.

It's being 100% restored.

These are beautiful saws with some interesting engineering.
thread up brother, absolutely fine by me
cant wait to see it, some of those old Pioneers are beautiful

I fuelled up and installed bar/chain on seven MS200Ts and one MS201T. I test ran them all in a hardened cant and a big ol log except the one that had the pull start knot come untied :(
Steve warned me the aftermarket recoil has a poorly tied knot but I missed it.
Rebuilt and ran a Husky 440, had to fabricate a fuel line solution and still officially hate Husky.
Rebuilt and ran a MS361 with a bunch of AM parts, runs friggin great!!
Tore down my next 076 project to bare parts, ready to hit the ultrasonic tomorrow, before shipping off for powder. So dang many parts!!
Shipped a bunch of packages to customers.
Ordered OEM parts from Stihl and Husky.
Ordered some 076 frisky bits for project saws.
Banged my head against an MS460 that has 170PSI, passed pressure and vac tests when reassembled, has a nice strong spark but wont even hit with mix right in the carb, looks like it is time to pressure/vac test again :(
Cursed a little at another MS361 mostly Farmertec saw that got a new crank and p/c after a guy killed it but it only has 150 PSI and I cant get the carb flange to seal off properly to p/v test it, bubbles between flange and boot, so maybe a buggered boot or ring. At least it has spark.
Feels like I got stuff done for a change.

Check for a sheared flywheel key in the ms460;)
