I have a nos 797 dsp valve if you would like some starting dimensions

Ah ha! Now I see said the blind man. I thought it was two piece.

Like I said in my post above, the port has been threaded 5/16-18 so I will have to do a little changing. Thanks for the photo.

I did find one for a Homelite EZ that is almost identical.

Hmm. Thinking of a threaded outside sleeve, with a hole for a valve that I will make, so the valve will slide in the sleeve. With a retainer clip or shoulder so the valve will not fall out.

Just as an FYI, the o.d. Of the valve is 1/4 of an inch

Done with the NE jug, the one to right is a 254 jug from 1987.

New slug, lightly ported, had a toasted generator and a carb issue, dumped a 199 on her instead.

Well, now we have an 026, 2065->372 hybrid, 340->353 hybrid, 246 and an 038->038Mag hybrid/ported monster all on the bench. Some little Dalling-communist-mouth-breathing-retard decided it was a grand idea to put 6 levels of clotheslines attached to STAINLESS STEEL bolts into a *f-wordiing White Oak tree. 4 saws and 6 *f-wording chains in less than 30 minutes! *f-word you sideways with an AIDS infested, rusty concertina wrapped, 48” Cedar stump you prick. I hope you choke on a Tabasco coated fried chicken liver that gets lodged in your sinus cavity you ffffffucming prick.
