How much did you pay for a brisket that size?Put this 16lb prime brisket on the smoker last night about 6p.
Here's what it looked like this morning at 9a. Still has a few hours to go.
Did something different.
No rub, just S&P and smoke.

I bought it at a Sam's club three weeks ago. $4.88 a pound.
The choice was $4.38 a pound.
Whole brisket here is now $6.89 per pound.

This. I don't do pulled pork without it anymore.Anyone here recommend a vinegar based BBQ sauce? Had some on pulled pork in North Carolina years ago. Didn't look like anything was on it but the flavor was out of this world. Would like to try and recreate that taste.
