Cutting into a propane tank

Finally got a hole cut in it. Now should i try and power wash it out now or just cut away?
I kinda of figured if i got a hole in it if ther was some flameabke still in tjer the pressure has some where to go.

I'd start cutting but am a bit accident prone. Thought I'd broken my knuckle in a Foredom incident last week.

You already cut it so what are you worried about?
Get it cut open and burn the stanky stench out
