Used to take beef chuck steaks, knock 'em down with a little Dale's, melted butter, some garlic seasoning, and sear the chit out of 'em...get that good 'ol fat dripping, flip 'em, let 'me roll another 4-5 mins and scoot 'em off the flamage. Pretty damn good cut of meat.

The wife and I weren't feeling well tonight so it was chicken patties and tater tots. The Schwans guy stopped by so I got some shrimp to go with the steaks we have in the fridge for the weekend. I'm hungry again :(

I haven't seen a Schwan's truck in decades...they used to have some decent groceries. I don't guess they ever really took off here.

They stop by every other week. They do have some good groceries. All their shrimp was on sale this trip. They have some breaded chicken wings that are great just plain. The sauce packets that come with them are terrible though.

I did manage to squeeze in a couple of ham, bologna, and sliced mater sammies and some pickles this evening working on my daughter's laptop. That was as good as the groceries got around here this evening. Too damn busy fooling around with laptop, but I got it fixed so she's a happy camper.

Ah Dale's the ultimate quick marinade. I was wondering how many states had it on the shelf.

Top sirloin on the grill and fan tail shrimp in the oven. I do most of the cooking and still thank the wife after every meal because she loves my cooking and if she didn't I wouldn't get to cook wonderful meals like this. With my 12yo Weber grill finally heating properly I'm super excited for warm weather to cook more. I'm thinking of going to the local Dairy Queen and buying a case of their grill burgers to have on hand. When we first bought our house and we raced and demo derbies we would go through a case of them burgers a summer
