I've been cooking for some years and still like it, even have my own recipe notebook.
Tonight I am making a chicken and rice mix for dinner and lunch next couple days. Just jasmine rice lime juice and zest with scallions and carrots minced, (with thyme and a tiny bit of cilantro while the rice cooks). I typically just pan fry the chicken and then cut it really small but tonight I'm trying to bake it and then shred it up.

We also had a Poblano and rice casserole but I didn't care for it.

Jalapeño poppers, Bison burger with soft Cheddar and bagged Potatos on the grill. The poppers and burger were good. The Potatos were OK.

Hmm, corn, We started pulling corn today, It finally got ready. I forgot the pictures, but will try to get some. Pulled about 18 dozen ears today. ( I love sweet corn! )

Thanks Steve, the hail stripped it bad, but we are still going to make over half a crop with the second planting. It will have to be pulled this week!

Not good pictures, everybody left before I could get the camera out! This is what is for supper tonight, We pulled about 40 ears after the hunters left today. I did 19 ears tonight after the dove hunters left. mama cooked it, but not very happy about it! Hmmm
