This is the same saw. I am very happy with it. Just sayin...
The older I manage to live, the more I appreciate the small saws. At this point in time, my absolute favorite saw is a 242XPG that my friend @Glock37 gifted to me.

I actually watched that video..I never do that..lol.

Days of our lives with Mr. Nasty..

I chuckled for a good 5 minutes...
He is/was extremely naive or just plain ignorant. If a good handful of people told me I'm about to step in a big Ole pile of horse shït, then I proceed to complain about having my boots covered in said pile of horse shït.... I would have to admit to being an ignoramus bullhead.

I keep thinking about the 394s I've done, and I only recall two. The first one was shipped to Knoxville....and got "lost in shipping". It wound up in the dead mail center in Atlanta. Some friends helped me find a good replacement, and I ported it for the same fella. Only this time it was picked up by the customer in person.

The saw that was "lost" was found on Ebay a couple of years later. The seller had bought it from a postal auction in Atlanta. I added quite a lot of interest to his Ebay auction, and it sold for a fair amount of money. That seller was a good fella.....he sent me half of the proceeds from the sale.

Those are the only two 394s I remember doing.
Appearance wise, it was well worn.

I made one mistake before dealing with people on the internet off the words of other people instead of my own intuition..I knew better..but I figured I'd give it a spin, I'm embarrassed I listened to other people instead of myself..I own that.

Bring your saws to a GTG and settle it. The last one I hosted had at least 5 different builder’s saws there.
We've done a great job of extinguishing the the flames from the builder wars of the past I believe. I hope we can all agree that coexisting peacefully and nurturing the spirit of community is far better than trying to tear each other down.

I'll be hosting a gtg on the 3rd weekend in October BTW. Everyone is welcome.
