The night before was the worst for me. My body temperature dropped and all night I was freezing, drinking the solution and sitting on the throne with nothing but water pouring out. The actual test was a breeze. Out in a second, woke with pictures and clean as can be. I get to wait 10 years til I need another test.

I get to have another one on the 14th. Last time guy before me was mad as hell, he did not follow directions and Doc could not do it. Good friend of mine chit the bed and wife made him wrap in a towel and wear a garbage bag (I laughed my azz off). Funniest couple I know.

Probably happens a lot!

I was lucky and given the ten year interval as well
Here the prep is called Pico Silex comes in Orange and Cherry flavours.
Bought a buddy a box of Pico Silex for his 50 th birthday.
He didn’t understand what it was for. I told him don’t worry you’ll find out

We're being exposed to things our ancestors weren't and rates of hypertension in the population are higher than ever.
100%. A cancer insurance salesman told me that he thinks genetics is 20% of the problem and environment is 80%. I'm sure our food, all the preservatives, chemicals, seed oils, etc, make a bigger difference than we think.

It is over.
I was supposed to be there at 10:15 and the procedure at 11:23.
I got there at 9:30 and they did not do it until 2:00 because he had to go address an emergency.
I woke up with very bad stomach cramps.
They told me to go home and take it easy. I told her I was going to walk off the stomach cramps. She said just take a short walk because of the anesthesia. I went for well over a mile and still had cramps....still do.

Military gives us move prep for colonoscopies, I like it better then miralax.
My poor kids will have to have colonoscopies around the 20 year mark because I had colon cancer at age 36. Praise the Lord it was not dramatic.
They cut it out of me, sewed me back up and opted out of chemo.
I did a dna test and that proved a negative.

Was forced to get the Covid vaccine 6
Months before diagnosis…. 🤷

I think they need to start testing at 40 instead of 50. I have a distant relative that just passed away 2 weeks ago from colon cancer. He was 43.
I’ve had two good friends diagnosed before 50. One was in his 40s and it was stage three when they found it. He passed away recently. He was a great TN state trooper that would do anything for anyone. The other friend was able to get it taken care of and so far is doing fine.

I do trust most doctors but truly do not understand the intervals.
What the hell is a 10 year interval?
That is like saying the engine oil dipstick says it is good today so hell in 10 years check it again
Bad shiit happens and it is not on a set interval

I truly have no idea as I am the furthest from a doctor......way far from one :D
I just know back on October 2, 1989 was the last time my father ever smoked his pipe (TOBBACCO)
That was the day we laid his niece, Loretta Kay, to rest at age 47.
She passed of lung cancer...........had not smoked in years either.
Dad never said a word about stopping.
He was a quiet man and it took us a bit to realize he had quit as he had a pipe in his mouth if he was awake.
