Test-drove a BJ 70 back in 2012. Just climbing a mountain road with no load, I watched the temp gauge climb near overheat. Had to stop occasionally and let the little 3b diesel idle to cool down. The short wheel base was terrifying on the highway. Did not care for that thing at all.

Some young fellas have an infatuation with overseas rarities. But our American iron is simply better.
Spent over $4800 just in OEM parts and machine work, to do a head gasket job on a 1fz-fe. This was in 2016. Could only imagine what it would cost today. Could build an entire fkn 383 stroker for less than that cost.
