Its a mtronics saw. 25to1 is alota oil for it and hp2 is a high viscosity oil not to mention this saw is strato gutted and pullin a good bit of fuel already. I was actually considering what Randy said about using a thinner oil like r2 @ 32to1try 25:1 for 10 tanks and report back.

Ya I took the bellzona out and raised the transfers to 118. Gained rpm in cut and ran very good but still loads on a long idle. I think its suckin alota fuel inJust shows a bigger wash on that side. Piston top is wet too. Might not be able to burn the oil in that saw.
Clogged screeeeeeen... perzactly or exactly; I have seen a piston ring lock down with a layer of carbon as thin as a magic-marker mark; I want a clean burn, not a carboned piston top/ fouled spark plug/ muffler dripping/ screen clog... just saying. The right mix works, the wrong mix creates new problems
