"Royal Purple HP 2-C (formerly 2-C TCW III) is recommended for use in both pre-mixed and oil-injected gasoline 2-cycle engines in outboard motors, motorcycles, jet skis, chainsaws, and other 2-stroke power equipment. ...."
what color is it mixed.I'm gonna see how it runs.
I'll agree with you for the ope, but my bikes and quads have lived well on 927 for many years. You want to use straight castor, go ahead. It's a really crappy choice for a saw and most anything else.

This is the pic I sent my wife at work the day "beloved" arrived. She responded if it was still there when she got home she was going to use it on me. I told her if she could start it have at it.....
Two cycle lawnmower engines really need a tcw3 oil and the owners manuals, at least for my lawnboy specs such. They are run at low loading, constant rpm. Running low ash OPE leads to fouled plugs and mettalic deposits galore.trying out some evinrude johnson 2 stroke premium oil in it smokes like hell at 50:1 though

927 isn't straight castor, Benol is. And even 927 is not optimal for most applications, bikes included. As mentioned I will run a castor blend like 927 in my bikes, bug only when dunking where high load and full throttle continuously are in the mix. For MX or trail riding your hurting , not helping by running a castor blend. In a saw there is zero benifits to running a castor blend let alone straight castor. And to the contrary there are many bad properties of Castors and castor blends.I'll agree with you for the ope, but my bikes and quads have lived well on 927 for many years.
i run ashless oils in my lawn boys and my one toro. supertech outboard in the 1 gallon jug is what i usually buy and it doesn't smoke like evinrude/johnson oilTwo cycle lawnmower engines really need a tcw3 oil and the owners manuals, at least for my lawn boy specs such. I really like penzoil full synthetic in my LB, and I'm not a big penzoil fani run ashless oils in my lawn boys and my one toro. supertech outboard in the 1 gallon jug is what i usually buy and it doesn't smoke like evinrude/johnson oil
that oil is 17.99 here per quart is the only reason i have not tried it i hope you got it cheaper than me lol.Royal purple says it's ashless. If I'm smart enough to read it properly.
i want to try the quicksilver brand but it is always out at the local stores.I really like penzoil full synthetic in my LB, and I'm not a big penzoil fan
Ashless oils are marine oils.. if it says it can be run in a boat AND other equipment it's a marine oil.Royal purple says it's ashless. If I'm smart enough to read it properly.
i run 32:1 in my lawnboy it is a D600 engine and it only turns 3100 rpms set on the normal speed setting. The other thing with LB'S is the are extremely sensitive to big end rod failures as the have a roller bearing over a shell bearing setup. I wouldn't dare run less than 32:1 if you have the RPM turned up like most guys do.
