927 isn't straight castor, Benol is. And even 927 is not optimal for most applications, bikes included. As mentioned I will run a castor blend like 927 in my bikes, bug only when dunking where high load and full throttle continuously are in the mix. For MX or trail riding your hurting , not helping by running a castor blend. In a saw there is zero benifits to running a castor blend let alone straight castor. And to the contrary there are many bad properties of Castors and castor blends.
True. I'll still run 927 in my bikes and quads after the results I've seen from it. It won a lot of races for me and I never lost a motor.

Ok serious f-in question for all you damn oil snob perfectionists.

The Red Armor claims to clean the piston. Do any of the other oils make the same claim?

If this is true, if this statement is true, how would one ever come to the conclusion that the mix is not burning completely or it is just bomb ass oil that is fully combusting and keeping the insides carbon free?

Hate to disappoint, bought some 2R that a dealership had on clearance

5 bucks a qt..... to good to pass up honestly. Have about a gallon of it now. Will post some pics after some documented run time.

Isn't that what the oil kick is about?

Maybe one day someone will pay us for all of our hard/easy work lol

Sent from my non internal combustion device.

image.jpeg image.jpeg Here's a piston out of my old 1160 motor for my drag bike that broke the end of the crank off. Doesn't look like much carbon to me does it? was ran for 15 years which is unheard of your lucky to get 5 years out of a motor. But that's what you get for paying up and having a really really good engine builder. And of course I went bigger I built a 1428 motor.
Gasoline causes carbon too..ever see a four, cycle piston?

Why would u disappoint anyone? U wont find anything wrong with 2r but it will be interesting to see your pics and results. Some say its unnecessary to take the saw apart?

We were on the Klotz wagon and still at 50:1 nothing compares I will agree strongly.

I have ran 4 gallons of it before in a few saws for customers along with a couple in the 441 last fall and never tore one down

It will be nice to see how the 661 and the soon to be ported 7900 look after a few gallons.

Still waiting to run some IPONE one day, I classify it as an exotic oil lol

And I have never seen a properly tuned two cycle without carbon wash. I have also ran many different oils and have been fooling around with two cycles for a long time. Tune them rich and you can wash the piston bare, but your leaving alot of power on the table doing that

Not much different than this one. And I have seen plenty of four cycle pistons much more carboned up than that. Especially modern, fuel injected ecm controlled ones. Run rich enough and you cn wash any piston.imagejpeg_0.jpgimagejpeg_0.jpg

I have seen them much worse than that. My Honda 11hp snowblower is terrible in that regard.
