I hate colorless oils. They used some at work today. It just doesnt feel right pouring colorless gas in an exoensive 500i

I do like clear bar oil except it's hard to tell how full the tank is sometimes.

Is interceptor injection oil? That would be the only reason id think any 2 stroke oil would be colorless because its in a tank seperate from the gas. I found it odd mx2t is clear.

I ran out and picked up a bottle to get me by until I picked up some Stihl silver. I think it was amoil synthetic, but it was clear as well. I used until I got home then dumped it, I knew one of the kids would either add oil to it or think I started using straight gas, didn’t feel right for me either. I use what the books say 50:1. My dealer/repairman said he suggests 40:1 for all saws. He died before synthetics…

I was told they put 5 bottles in the gas can. It's a 5 gallon can, so this stuff was meant for small engines.

My cousin had a tree service and heats with wood. He ran XP then xp+ many years at 32:1. No issues. He did switch after seeing my test engines in person but he didn't need to.

Xp+ beat out yamalube, two different synthetic castrol bike oils and motul 800 plus many other ope oils, Saber being one.

For my customers that don't want to mess with measuring oil, I pretty much always recommend either ls or xp+

I'm not a fan of measuring oil but, I know I'm getting the exact amount for the ratio I run. 16 oz in 5 gallons of VP 94 sets me up for a couple years. I use a graduated cylinder for anything single gallon or a 64 oz / 2000 ml lab measuring pitcher for the 5 gallon.

5 gallon pail of Sunoco Optima, one 12.8 oz bottle + one 2.6 oz. bottle XP+ puts me at 42:1 +or-. Easy, no more calibrated eyedroppers for me!
