I have not tried it in my saws ,i did not have any good mix at work and used what i found it in a junk car here ,i was amazed it ran real good with it .Wouldnt suprise me if it was the same oil
Ive ran a good bit of lucas in ported dirtbikes at 32to1 with no issuesI have not tried it in my saws ,i did not have any good mix at work and used what i found it in a junk car here ,i was amazed it ran real good with it .
I feel the same way ,a lot of my outdoor power equipment runs better with the stuff made for it ,hmmmI think most of the oils we r discussing and using r overkill
I have torn down some logger hand me down saws that bearings looked sooty like that ,if they would go 40 to 1 i think the soot would be less and wash better ,50 to 1 seems a tad too dryIve seen quite a few saws in the shop ran on convenient store oils that looked fine. Stihl oil carbons up as bad as any ive seen

I have seen some cheaper oils used in stuff brought in the shop that carboned everything from the bottom transfers on out! Tune may have had alot to do with it though?QTLA5TIMES

Could have. Not sure. Isn't the stihl ultra fb rated? Or it used to be. That might be why also. Less detergents. Everybody says it's some dirty stuffI have seen some cheaper oils used in stuff brought in the shop that carboned everything from the bottom transfers on out! I saw that. Mike I think it was a salesman saying it would and Amsoil would warrantyDiscussion on facebook saying saber @100:1 will last milling. I'm not so sure. I seen the westspartan's 441 with that stuff and it was dry and brown burnt on the underside.
