While I never saw eye to eye with Ben, much of what he said was correct, but not all of it. This is the sad part of discussing things in the written word on an internet forum, in person we just be having a normal conversation about this, without getting all huffy and puffy.

I've been to Randy's get together and hope to go again if possible this fall.

I agree. Andyshine should elaborate on what he sees that is coming up short on Eggshooters test. The test speak for themselves in my opinion. He mixed the same way and ran the piss out of them? Whats in question Andy?

Andy I think u should elaborate in detail where the test are flawed . Maybe we can all learn alil something here. Im interested in Eggshooters test and there will always be questions of what ifs in any test. Trying to control variables in each situation is about all anyone can do? I think Eggshooter has done what he feels necessary to control the test honestly? I surely dont feel he has manipulated the test in any way

I wouldn't assume you'd have a reason to be afraid. I'm a skeptic through and through, and do prefer to see things with my own eyes, but even then things aren't always 100%. Your response and telling me to go *f-word myself actually make you more credible, if you can believe that.

My assumption is the fact these engines so low stressed and possibly tuned rich, it allows them to run on very little oil. And to be clear, when I say low stress I mean comparative to their overall output and general construction of the engune, not the amount of loud they're under, which you proved some time ago.

I hadnt used any of this new RA but used a good bit of original RA and really liked it. I was the punching bag around here for awhile for going on about RA. I assure u there are plenty here that would love to see RA fail early!! Personally I have moved on to Maxima K2 and Klotz Original Techniplate and love both

I can see where u r coming from to a point. If u take a Stihl 460 and bury a 28" bar bucking should be a normal load. Take the same saw and mill with it and its overloaded. I think Eggshooter basically was trying to duplicate the same scenario with added length of line? I think his method of mixing and running was as well as he can control it?
