So, is Yamalube 2R supposed to be purple?

I had to order a quart of oil for my new string trimmer and Yamalube was the cheapest and easiest oil to get

Not to mention it’s highly recommended by the pistol packing primate...

Anywho, at first it looked like dirty crankcase oil but I carried a syringe outside and in sunlight it looks purple

Am I good to go?

Without the time to read all of this thread, any of you knuckleheads formed any opinion on Amsoil Saber? You know the stuff says it can be run at 100:1.
I have some and I'm dubious if I should use it at 100:1, 50:1, 40:1, 32:1, or not at all.

I believe used at normal ratios (32:1 or 40:1) it is ranked as good to very good. Lots of guys like blue oil.
