What oil is best? and what ratio?

One thing about K2 I dont like is its hard to tell the fuel is mixed with it. Red Armour is great in this regard as it turns the fuel blood red.

I've got both red and blue fuel dye ...............only need one drop in a gallon

Piston is beautiful in my 562 after countless tanks running 40:1 saber....oil all over the piston and little to no carbon buildup. Gonna stick with what works.

Is it running rich? Should have some carbon on top of that piston? All Saber Ive used made carbon on top of the crown

Not any more than red armor that I ran in it previously. I do load the saw well and it wears 24” bar.

Thats odd. I hadnt seen many oils when the saw is tuned keep a clean piston top. This is my 346 with RA at 40to1 and its still rich

That's about where I like to tune my saws, sure you will loose a tiny bit of power and use s little more fuel, but that's ok.[emoji6]

Ya me too. Its at about 14700 right off 4 stroke and wears a 16" Cannon with PS chain for limbing. It would probably carbon on over if I loaded the 16" more

I just peeled inside that 272 running on Ben ol. It looked very greasy inside. Had an air leak.... carb was loose. Got that fixed. Saw actually behaves like it should now. I’m proud.

None my business. That saw will rip full 3/8 at 16. Why the pic o? I run 325 18 on mine. Both of them came w 3/8 rims on em.

The 3/8P is the quickest to me and smooth limbing. I had a gutted strato 241c with Stihl PS setup that was as fast and a few cuts faster than a ported 346 running .325
