Moparmyway would be the one to ask as I think he has ran a good bit

Pretty sure the local motorcycle shop will have R2 and K2. You’re the only one who suggested k2, others have said it was good.

But how are these in the mtronic saws?

Either will be fine . Ive heard the K2 works well in the electronic saws

Milling is all I would use it for besides racing maybe. I used a quart of it up but it was kind of rough for fumes if the wind stopped or you were down near the ground milling

K2 works good at 40:1 in my computer saws.

I love K2, aint nothing wrong with it, except its just a bit salty

I ran R50 for stumping, it smelled awesome for the first 2 minutes, then I was gagging on it, allmost lost my lunch too, so I stopped running it.

I've used K2 at 32:1 in mtronic, autotune, and normal stuff ............. love it

Considering I was buying ultra for whatever ridiculous price my Stihl dealer got for it, k2 should be a savings.

I think $11 for a “2.5 gallon” bottle

I can't imagine the new formula of Red Armor being that bad... Why would they take a great oil and degrade it ? All because some corporate bean counter said so ? If somebody could get a non sugar coated answer directly from Echo that would be sweet.

I know guys who have had great luck with it in bikes. I dont care for it based on the smell alone. It stinks!
Also worth noting that back in the day Honda used Yamalube 2R poured into Honda jugs.
Honda stuff made good power in my milling saws ,but the smell made me sick like you are saying ,it was blue though .I remember the team Honda thing ,i think it was Steve Lampsons factory #1 125cc that ran yamaha oil .
