What oil is best? and what ratio?

I did run the rest of my Lucas but it was probably like 16 to 1. Again I won't blame the oil but I had my first total failure using it. Dry

Did it fail at 16:1 ?

Damn 16: is a lot of oil. I wonder what my OPE would do at 16:1 !!! Talk about a wet exhaust!

Ive used about every oil now and hadnt had a problem with any except supertechniplate.

I ran about 8 gallons of supertechniplste through a Husky blower with no issues this summer. Fwiw.

Immediately carbon my rings stuck on a 550xp within a few tanks

Good question. I just went and looked, and I through the bottle away. I think it was Super Techniplate, but not 100% sure.
It was an open jug I got from @mdavlee to try.

Only thing I ran the super in was the 550 and it almost ruined the saw with buildup in the ringlands in a few tanks

Shoot man I dont know what was goin on with it but that Super is known to make a mess. Only way I caught the stuck ring was inspection through exhaust port and noticed blowby and tore it down and thats what I found

I'm just poking at you. I'm not a dirt bike guy and have never run any of those oils except like a pint of Bel Ray that I mixed at 32:1 a few years ago.

Mix.
I only did so because I needed to burn it up. Wouldn't pick that oil for OPE use as a first choice.
