I honestly wonder in all seriousness if they were to run let's say red armor. Day in day out. With a questionable tune do you think the results would be different ?
Do I think one oil will make a difference from another? Yes I do and if I didnt Id be wasting my time here, so yes I think it would but thats just my opinion

i run belray h1r at 50:1 in my blower and trimmer and belray h1r at 32:1 in my saws.
i would run them all at the same mix but the blower and trimmer has a non adjustable carb.

I agree I also think some failures would still be present due to operator error Certainly some oils are better than others

I think some oils will minimize wear but when its on the point of seizure because of tune or air leak, dull chain, etc. ? Probably not too much will save it

Threw some in the weed eater tune was on from previous 40:1 red armor.
The Kawasaki oil doesn't stink. Which is AWESOME!! Very light smell even sniffing the exhaust. (Yes I am that kind of a nut case) think the wife is planing on trimming some tomorrow so we will see if it blows up. Lol I wonder if it can burn as clean as the red armor does. Most the time with trimmers and leaf BLOWERS I run a 50:1 or else I start seeing the exhaust goo.

I've been using VP C9 50:1 and I add Belray H1R to make it 40:1. Use to use VP SEF 40:1 but the C9 is a lot cheaper. It's nice to not worry about fuel issues.

Amsoil it good stuff, right? Should be a top shelf brand, right. And with a name like interceptor, it's gotta be good. Didn't realize it's designed for oil injected engines. Whoops.

Bought a 6 gallon tipper jug of echo red armor. Well see if this is better.

What'd 6 gallons of RA cost you? I called my local echo dealer to get pricing on red armor in a larger quantity like that. They called me back three times to try to understand what I wanted, then never called with a price... :(
