I take apart equipment daily thats ran on Stihl. Some look good and some look horrible. I think tune, fuel, load, and ratio play a big part in what I see
I know my 192 was a horrid gooy icky mess. The exhaust was a mess. Never could tune it to run clean.

Sorry yes. Once I used the Dolmar synthetic in the 192 I never mixed another batch of stihl oil. In fact gave all I had away.
I service probably 30 Stihl saws in a large treeservice and they run ultra @ 50to1. They run their saws hard and most look good but a few leaned out and toasted the exhuast side piston skirt and sometimes the cylinder. The 2 most failed I see in his fleet are the MS250 and the MS361

Too many variables there.

I run it at 40 in my personal saws and it works just tits.

Still been running vp lately. Mainly in my fs90. May take the muffler off and look at how it's doing tomorrow. Been running just fine and love that there is basically no 2 stroke smell.

I honestly wonder in all seriousness if they were to run let's say red armor. Day in day out. With a questionable tune do you think the results would be different ?
