You can spend alot more and be worse off.

Ben, it was your posts that convinced me to give it a try. The H1R that I'd been using was causing issues in the A/T and M/T saws.......so I needed a different oil that worked well in all saws. The R2 has been great.......thank you.

10 tanks red armor 32:1 in muff modded 661. Quite impressive. Lighting wasn't the greatest with the camera so I did a video instead. For those with a short attention span I edited it down as much as I could. So you'll just have to tough it out for a minute 45 sec. check the ring grooves out!

100 bucks says keith gandy cracked a nut off when you posted this.

Great oil with a long track record of great performance. And it's reasonable price wise.

motul 800 off road 32:1 - approx 6-7 tanks. Didn't have enough left to do more.

camera sd card took a dump so the video is all I have.

Looks good Julian. How do you think this RA compares to other oils you have tested?
How did the saw run when you were using this mix? Powerwise and lubrication wise?

So which do you like better, RA or 2R ?

Sorry for delay in response. I wanted to run 800 first and see how that looked.

I will refer you guys to the 3 pictures attached. It really doesn't matter what oil I was running. We are talking about heat here...

1) 28 no spark screens (2 ports) - muffler can is clean

2) 28" put spark screens in - that is the only change here - now we have some heat in the muffler can.

3) change to 41" bar and now we have even more heat in the muffler can.

Why does that matter to the last 3 take downs(RA, 2R, 800)? Well I've been running a 3x port muffler (which I took off my TM661) and put it on a stock saw. So this saw I've been using for these take downs, I assume has been running very cool. Is that bad or good? I dunno. But obviously you get a clean saw. And the 3 pictures discussed above is just a little more supporting evidence of what is going on.

Seems we have more questions now than answers? lol ...are these 3 oils that clean? Or are the results from how cool the saw is running? Or both?

How the saw felt/ran - out of the 3 (800 2r and RA... all 32:1) - I liked how the saw ran on the RA a little more than the other two.

Have you done any serious testing on Lucas?

I've been using a lot of Red Armour lately. Love it, but not the ridiculous price

Was the piston crown that clean before or was the carbon from the 800?

Wow that mfer is fat as hell. Could probably take 1/4 turn in and run really good. Very very safe tune u got there.
Found the same thing in my saws after running just a couple gallons. None were tuned rich. I won't be using the rest. Ordered a quart of yamalube 2r

This was found on the shelf of my local AutoZone. Never saw it before. I bought up a small supply of the Poulan Pro synthetic from Wally World, but this is new to me. Anyone seen it before? It has the FD rating on the label.
