32:1 air cooled oil only in ported rigs!!I wouldn't use boat oil but the manufacturers say 50:1 too.
No bad intents toward Treemonkey, but the path to hell is covered with good intentions.FB is good.I have no experience with the Shaffer's oil that treemonkey uses but I'd say this.......anyone who strips down as many saws as he does and talks/asks what oils the operators are using whether commercial or homeowner makes a good mental database as to what works well and what does not. I'm sure if it was terrible he would not use it in his own saws nor sell it to a paying customer. Some things are best answered by first hand experience rather than reading spec sheet advertising brochures.
Tried anymore oils in the 241?32:1 air cooled oil only in ported rigs!!![]()
Just the 2r @ 20to1. Its still not back together. Too busy @ workTried anymore oils in the 241?
In the 1990's and earlier many did. Some still do now, like lawnboy mowers and wajax pumps. However chainsaws these are not and neither husky nor stihl has reccomended boat for the last 15 years at the least.funny i got a air cooled engine in the garage that calls for outboard oil.
