What oil is best? and what ratio?

Someone suggested an APP a while back. I downloaded it and use it now. It is pretty cool.
It is called Fuel/Oil Mix Calculator.
And yes, 2.56 oz of oil in .8 gallons of gas should give you 40:1. [emoji106]

It does, but castor does nasty stuff to saw motors deposit wise.

Stupid question but say I want to make 40:1 with a 2.6 oz I would need to mix with .8 gallons at the pump.

fwiw I just google "oz to gal "

so take 2.6 x the ratio you want to run. 2.6x 40 = 104 oz now convert to gal. = .813gal. so you put in .813 gal of gas.

Apps? That sounds like you are using math and stuff. I use math at work, I'm sure as hell not bringing work home with me...

Pour oil up to the line for 1 gallon at 32:1. Pour some gas in to dilute and shake it up, then pour back in the can. Shake it like a Polaroid picture. Go cut things.

We don't need no metric around here! Even though everything in my field (medical) is metric, so I have to know both.

Edit: also if metric is so wonderful why do foreign sports car/super/hyper car still go by the 0-60mph times?

Because those silly puckers in England seem to use both. Litres for fuel and MPH for highway speed. That's a true WTF!!!

No they need ton make 3.2oz bottles for 40:1 instead of this 2.6 50:1 garbage and the pumps could read oz too damit.

The liter and kilometer system is stupid just bigger numbers to make you feel like your going faster when you se 120km.
Man this Lil euro truck is a beast. I burnt 23.5 liters to get to work.

Yeah the liters per/100km system that they use to show fuel mileage makes my head hurt. Mpg just makes sense

I burnt 5 gallons of fuel through a 395 with 927. No build up below the crown. Probably won't use it in the 661. It does run too rich

I'd run it. Those saw auto tune to stay rich for rpm management
